Review by hotel critic
As a wildlife conservationist traveling from Sydney, Australia, my stay at Villiera Guesthouse was a delightful interlude on my journey. The attention to detail and genuine care shown by the staff truly stood out. On our gourmet getaway, we were pleasantly surprised when the morning call came inquiring about our dinner preferences, setting the tone for a bespoke culinary experience awaiting us.The dinner was a delectable affair, surpassing expectations with every bite. The barbecue spread was a personal highlight, bringing back memories of starlit nights in South African parks. The menu's innovative twist on traditional dishes was a welcome surprise, resonating with my appreciation for unique culinary experiences. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, complementing the flavorful dishes. While breakfast leaned towards simplicity, it was a comforting start to the day amidst the lush surroundings of Villiera. The blend of comfort, convenience, and gastronomic creativity makes Villiera a hidden gem worth exploring for any food enthusiast traveleing to Douglas.
